Diane Pisani | Founder, Educator, and Advocate
Diane’s career has always centered on service and entrepreneurship. After working in customer service and sales, she founded Cruises and More in 1986 and operated the cruise-only travel agency for seventeen years. After moving to Florida, she worked at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples before discovering Home Watch.

Diane began working in Home Watch in 2004 and co-founded a Home Watch business in 2006. Years of visits to unoccupied homes showed her how much knowledge the work requires, and how little structured training was available to people entering the profession.

She taught her first Home Watch workshop in 2008 and launched a dedicated training program in 2009. In 2020, she introduced the Home Watch Academy eLearning program so business owners could learn at their own pace and continue building their knowledge after graduation.

Today, Diane leads the Academy’s education, resources, and Certified Home Watch Reporter designation. She is an advocate for clear professional standards and for helping homeowners understand whom they are inviting into their homes.

Dr. Christopher Miller, DHSc | Instructional Design
Chris is an eLearning and education specialist with more than twenty years of experience developing training for organizations. His background spans health care, health technology, university teaching, and corporate education.

He brought that instructional design experience to the Home Watch Academy, helping turn Diane’s field knowledge into structured online learning. Chris helped develop the Home Watch Business Owner Training exam and continues to provide support as the Academy’s educational programs evolve.

Chris founded Miller Global Education in 2011. He holds a Doctorate of Health Sciences from Nova Southeastern University, along with graduate education in health management and medical informatics.
